About Export Agency Services

Annually, about 1 million used cars are exported from Japan to the world. As a result, we receive requests for export agency services within Japan from various international importers. We are members of over 80 auctions nationwide, enabling us to purchase used cars that meet our customers' needs.

We have established business cooperation with transporters nationwide for prompt response to land transportation needs. Our company has an 18,000 m² vehicle stock yard with a capacity to store about 1,500 vehicles.

Export Deregistration

To export a used vehicle, it's necessary to change the cancellation certificate to an export cancellation provisional registration certificate (export plan notification certificate) at each prefecture's land transport bureau in advance. After receiving this, customs clearance can proceed.

Customs Clearance Procedures

We require details of export vehicles, heavy machinery, export parts, and necessary documents at least a week before booking. Vanning is completed by the day before loading, and submitted to the customs broker. Our company supports the entire customs clearance process.

Shipper Agency

We handle vehicle purchase, vehicle management, shipping company reservations, vanning, document preparation, and customs procedures. We also offer value-added services such as radiation checks, vehicle photography, and vehicle inspections upon request.

Obtaining Original B/L

After loading is complete, the shipping company issues a Bill of Lading (B/L). This is an important document for importers to receive the cargo. We send it by mail after confirming payment from the importing client.

Ship Loading

We handle the preparation of export shipping documents. For RO-RO ships, the interior is structured like a multi-story parking lot, with each level connected by sloped ways. Experienced workers load and secure each vehicle from the port to the ship.

Booking

We coordinate with shipping companies to confirm schedules and space availability for the export destination and make selections. Booking refers to reserving cargo space.

Export Agency Process Flow

Container ship

Over one million used vehicles are exported annually from Japan to countries worldwide. As a result, we receive requests from importers in various countries to act as export agents within Japan.

Our company is affiliated with more than 80 auction sites across Japan, enabling us to purchase used cars that meet our customers' needs. We also have cooperative agreements with transport companies nationwide, allowing for prompt response in land transportation services.

We have a spacious vehicle stock yard of 18,000 square meters, currently capable of storing approximately 1,500 vehicles.

To briefly explain, the export process for used vehicles typically involves the following

Flow chart

image
  1. Receive vehicle order request from overseas importer.
  2. Purchase ordered vehicle at nationwide auction venues.
  3. Pay for the vehicle to the auction venue
(within three days of winning the bid).
  4. After payment, transport the vehicle from the auction venue to our company (request nationwide vehicle transport companies).
  5. Within a week, the temporary cancellation certificate for the purchased vehicle is mailed to us from the auction venue.
  6. After receiving the temporary cancellation certificate, change it to an export cancellation certificate at the Aichi Prefecture Land Transport Office.
  7. Once the change to the export cancellation certificate is complete, make a ship loading reservation (booking) with the shipping company.
  8. After securing the ship loading reservation, request a land transport company specializing in sea containers to transport an empty container from the port to our company two days before the ship's departure schedule.
  9. After the empty sea container arrives at our company, accurately load the declared cargo (used automobiles) (vanning).
  10. After loading is complete, request the sea container specialist transport company to transport from our company to the port.
  11. Send loading details to the customs broker and shipping company via email and fax.
  12. After customs clearance is reported, the shipping company issues a Bill of Lading (B/L).
  13. After the Bill of Lading is issued, send an invoice to the overseas importer (including vehicle purchase price, land transport fee, shipping fee, customs clearance fee, etc.).
  14. After confirming payment from the overseas importer, mail the Bill of Lading. Export is then complete.
