While exporting used vehicles via RO-RO ships (specialized vehicle ferries) is possible, the demand for sea container exports is increasing due to various circumstances in destination countries (such as port infrastructure and theft prevention). Sea containers come in 40-foot (12m length) HQ (260cm height) and 20-foot (6m length, 240cm height) sizes, with 40-foot HQ being the primary choice.
Various vehicles and heavy machinery are loaded into containers. For example, a Toyota Vitz can fit 6 units, but for trucks, heavy machinery, and microbuses of different shapes, we provide the best combination and safe vanning operations. The maximum load per container is under 30 tons.
Vanning requires advanced techniques and know-how. Using special reinforced lashing, we have never experienced cargo collapse or vehicle falls since our establishment.
Export destinations include countries worldwide, such as Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, UAE, African nations, South America, Mongolia, and Kyrgyzstan, where Made in Japan products are highly valued.
While the basic containers are 40-foot HQ or 20-foot, we consider the shape and size of the export vehicles to provide the most efficient combination and appropriate lashing to avoid damage, tailored to the export destination. For irregular operations like heavy machinery or parts, please consult with us on a case-by-case basis.
Vanning fees vary depending on the export destination, route, and content. Please contact us for detailed information.
Japanese construction machinery is highly popular worldwide, with demand expected to increase. We offer total export support for customers, including construction machinery vanning at our Oyama Yard in Tochigi Prefecture and Tobishima Yard in Aichi Prefecture.
This is the general process, but please feel free to inquire about any unclear points.
